Definition

小さな波が立つように動いたり広がったりする様子。また、音や筋肉の動きなど、波のように滑らかに流れる様子を表す。

'rippling water'、'rippling muscles'、'rippling sound'などによく使い、詩的でフォーマルな表現。髪には使わず、髪の場合は「ウェービー」や「カール」を使うことが多い。

The lake has a rippling surface in the wind.
