Tepi atau pinggiran mengelilingi sesuatu, terutama tepi bulat roda, gelas, atau ring basket.

'Rim' biasanya digunakan untuk roda, bibir gelas, atau ring basket. Tidak digunakan untuk pinggir yang datar seperti meja. Kadang berarti kiasan ('on the rim of the volcano').
