Definition

লম্বা ও সরু উঁচু লাইন বা ধার, যা পাহাড় বা বস্তুতের উপর দেখা যায়। কখনও তা আঙ্গুলের মাথায় বা পাতার ওপরও থাকে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

ভূগোলে 'mountain ridges' বলতে পাহাড়ের শিখর বোঝায়, আর 'ridges on a leaf' বা 'the ridges of your fingerprints' এর মানে পাতার বা ত্বকের ছোট উঁচু রেখা। 'ridges' কখনো চূড়া (যা পয়েন্ট) নয়।
