リボンは、細長い布で、装飾や何かを結ぶこと、賞品として使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「リボン」はプレゼント包装、髪飾り、賞品やデコレーションなどによく使います。「string」「rope」と違い、主に装飾用です。「リボン」と「bow（結び目）」を混同しないように注意しましょう。
