巻き戻す

Definition

テープやビデオを前の位置に戻すこと。時には過去を振り返る意味でも使われる。

元々はテープやビデオに使われますが、デジタルでも、また比喩的に過去や会話にも使われます（例: '巻き戻して会話を振り返る'）。よく使われる言い方：'テープを巻き戻す'、'映画を巻き戻す'。

Please rewind the tape after you finish watching.

見終わったらテープを**巻き戻して**ください。
