Fazer o motor funcionar mais rápido apertando o acelerador, gerando um som mais alto. Usado com carros, motos ou outros veículos.

Geralmente informal, aparece com 'motor'. Muito usado em 'revving the engine'. Não se usa com motores elétricos pelo som característico. Pode passar ansiedade ou animação.
