人の考え方や感じ方を大きく変えるほどの驚くべき事実や情報が明らかになること。または神や高次の力からもたらされる啓示や霊的な示しも表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
宗教や文学的な場面でよく使われます。日常会話では衝撃的な発見や気づきに用いられます。'revolution（革命）'とは意味が異なるので注意しましょう。よく使われる表現：「啓示」「神の啓示」。
