重新走你已经走过的路，或在思维上回想某段过程；也用于通过回溯事件来找出事情经过。

常跟 'steps' 搭配，表达“retrace your steps”。用语较正式或描述性，口语中不太常见。既可指实际走路，也可表示回想过程。注意不要与 'trace'（首次跟踪或描画轮廓）混淆。
