何かの行動や出来事のあとに現れる成果や効果のこと。「結果」はテストや実験、選挙、医療検査の判定などにも使います。

多くの場合、複数形「結果」で使います（例：テストの結果、検索結果）。フォーマルな言い回しや「結果として」の場合は単数の形も使われます。

The results will come tomorrow.
