ऐसे नियम या सीमाएँ जो यह नियंत्रित करते हैं कि लोग क्या कर सकते हैं या क्या अनुमति है; जो पूरी स्वतंत्रता को रोकते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर बहुवचन ('restrictions on...') में आता है, और 'impose', 'lift', 'tighten' जैसे शब्दों के साथ आम है। यात्रा, व्यापार, कानून आदि के संदर्भ में सामान्य है। 'Ban' जितना कड़ा नहीं है।
