প্রায়শই 'restrictions on...' এর মতো বাক্যে ব্যবহার হয়। যেমন: 'impose restrictions', 'lift restrictions'। ভ্রমণ, চলাচল, বা আইন সংক্রান্ত কথায় বেশি। 'ban' এর তুলনায় কম কঠোর।
