透過正式通知僱主或組織，主動辭去工作或職位。也可表示無奈地接受某事，但這種用法較少見。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

多用於正式、職業場合。常見搭配：“resign from a job”（辭去工作），“resign as president”（辭去總統職務）。不要與“被解僱”混淆。較少見的用法“resign oneself to”表示接受難以改變的情況。
