मुख्य रूप से संज्ञाओं जैसे 'area', 'building', 'neighborhood' से पहले विशेषण के रूप में उपयोग होता है। कार्यालय या फैक्ट्री के लिए नहीं। अक्सर 'commercial' या 'industrial' के विपरीत इस्तेमाल होता है।
