指支持共和國或美國共和黨的成員。在其他國家，也可以指支持共和體制反對君主制的人。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

在美國通常指共和黨黨員（保守派）；其他國家則指支持共和體制而非君主制的人。不要和“Democrat”民主黨人混淆。首字母大寫時多為美國政黨名稱。
