誰かや何かの代わりに話したり行動したり、あるいは何かを特定の方法で示すことです。

ビジネスやフォーマルな場面でよく使われます。「会社を代表する」「クライアントを代表する」など。進行中の行為を表す時に使います。「presenting」とは意味が違います。

She is representing her class in the student council.
