記者は、ニュースや出来事について情報を集めて、テレビや新聞、ラジオ、オンラインメディアなどで伝える人です。

「記者」は現場で取材し、インタビューやニュース報道を行う人を指します。「ジャーナリスト」より限定的な意味です。「ニュース記者」「記者が質問した」などの表現がよく使われます。
