ランデブーとは事前に約束された人との待ち合わせ、またはその場所を指します。やや古風・ロマンチックな響きがあります。

『ランデブー』は日常会話より映画や小説、科学・軍事用語でよく使われます。カジュアルには『待ち合わせ』『会う』を使います。例：『秘密のランデブー』、『ランデブーポイント』。
