建物や部屋などの構造やデザイン、間取りを大きく変えたり改善したりする作業やプロセス。

主にアメリカ英語で住まいの大掛かりな改修で使われます。小さな修繕ではなく、間取り変更など大きな変化を含みます。「kitchen remodeling」はキッチン全体の改装を指します。

We are remodeling our kitchen this summer.
