Definition

過去の出来事や思い出を心の中で鮮明にもう一度体験すること。嬉しいことや辛いことなど感情を伴う場合が多いです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

楽しい思い出や辛い経験の両方に使われます。'relive a moment'や'relive the experience'は「記憶の中で味わい直す」という意味で、実際にもう一度行うことではありません。
