宗教や信仰、礼拝の習慣に関係すること。また、宗教を熱心に実践する人や、何かを非常に真面目で規則的に行うことを表す場合もある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「religious belief」「religious festival」「religious leader」など、名詞の前に使われます。人に使うときは、宗教を熱心に実践している意味です。「spiritual」は必ずしも宗教に限りません。慣用的に「I’m religious about my morning routine」のように、何かを徹底的に続ける意味でも使われます。
