Definition

人前で発表する前に、劇やスピーチ、音楽などを繰り返し練習すること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に舞台や音楽、ダンス、スピーチなどの本番前の練習で使われます。日常の単なる練習には使いません。 "rehearsing lines" や "rehearsing a scene" のように使われます。
