攝政指的是在合法君主太年輕、缺席或無法統治時，其他人代理國家政務的時期。也可以指與此時期相關的職位、權力或風格。

正式或歷史性的詞語，特別指英國「攝政時期」（19世紀初），亦可描述藝術或建築風格。不要和「軍團」(regiment)或「規章」(regulation)搞混。
