感到头晕或站立不稳，或因突然的惊讶或强烈情感而感到震惊、无法思考。

“Reeling”既可形容身体的头晕，也常用于表达因意外消息（如“reeling from the news”）而震惊。正式和非正式场合都用。不等同于“real”或“reel”（卷轴/钓鱼/电影用语）。

He was reeling after hearing the bad news.
