組織や軍隊などに新しく加わった人たち。まだ訓練中や経験の浅いメンバーを指す。

主に軍隊で使われますが、会社やスポーツチームなどにも使われます。「new recruits」はとても一般的です。動詞 "recruit"（採用する）とは区別してください。

The army trains its recruits very carefully.

軍は**新兵**をとても丁寧に訓練します。
