相手にとって良いと思うことや物を、やってみるようにすすめること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

フォーマル・インフォーマルどちらでも使える。「recommending a book」「recommending someone for a job」などとよく使われる。名詞や「that」節が続くことが多い。「suggest」よりも強い意味合いで、推薦する感じ。
