物や場所の後ろ側、または子どもや動物を育てて成長させることを表す言葉です。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
'rear door'や'rear window'はフォーマルな表現で、位置を示す時によく使われます。動詞としては動物や子どもを育てるときに使い、日常会話ではやや硬い言葉です。俗語の体の一部の意味では使いません。
