生未加工むきだし（肌）

Definition

食べ物が調理されていない状態を表します。また、加工されていないものや、肌が赤くてヒリヒリする状態も意味します。

食べ物では「生魚」「生肉」などに使われます。肌の場合は「手がraw」＝ヒリヒリ・むけている状態。抽象的に「raw emotion」「raw data」では加工前やむきだしの意味になります。「rare」とは異なります。

I don't eat raw onions.
