峡谷（または渓谷）は、両側が急な斜面になっている深くて細長い谷で、多くは水の浸食によってできています。

'峡谷'や'渓谷'は自然の地形を指し、'溝'や'用水路'よりも大規模ですが'大峡谷'（キャニオン）ほどではありません。地理や文学で使われます。
