Definition

ラップは、主にヒップホップ音楽でビートに合わせてリズムと韻を踏んで話すパフォーマンスです。また、表面を軽く叩くことも意味します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

一般的にはヒップホップのリズムに乗せて言葉を話すスタイルを指しますが、“rapping on the door”のように軽くたたく意味もあります。“wrapping”（包む）と間違えないよう注意。歌うのではなくリズミカルに話すことを指します。
