Definition

長い間大きな声や怒った調子で話したり書いたりし、文句や批判を繰り返すこと。

「rant」は否定的・感情的・長ったらしい批判に使われます。くだけた表現で、「冷静な議論」には使いません。「rantする」、「rantに入る」などのフレーズで使います。

He started to rant about the noisy neighbors.
