"Quits" هو صيغة الفعل "quit" للشخص المفرد الغائب، وتعني أن شخصًا ما يتوقف عن فعل شيء، أو يترك وظيفة، أو يتخلى عن عادة أو نشاط.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تُستخدم غالبًا مع he/she/it. شائعة في 'quits the job'، 'quits smoking'، 'quits early'. الفعل غير منتظم (quit-quit-quit، ليس quit-ed). أحيانًا تُخلط مع 'resigns' (رسمية) أو 'leaves' (حيادية). تظهر أيضًا في التعبير 'call it quits' (ينهي شيئًا دون فائز).
