شجار هو جدال أو خلاف غاضب بين أشخاص، وغالبًا حول شيء غير مهم.

كلمة "quarrel" في الإنجليزية أكثر رسمية وأقل شيوعًا في الحديث اليومي من "fight" أو "argument". غالبًا تستخدم مع "have a quarrel" أو "quarrel with someone"، وتعني عادة جدال كلامي وليس جسدي.
