用力將某物推開，或按下像按鈕之類的東西。也可以表示鼓勵某人做某事。

'Push' 既可指物理動作（推、按鈕），也可作比喻（推動某人去做事，'push yourself'）。常見用法有 'push a button'、'push a door'，與 'pull' 相對。
