手や糸、棒などで動かす人や動物の形をした小さな人形です。ショーや遊びに使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「puppet show」は「人形劇」、「sock puppets」はくつ下人形です。「puppet」は比喩的に誰かに操られる人も意味します。「doll」（人形、おもちゃ）とは違います。
