こぶしを握りしめて人や物をたたく行為。主にスポーツやけんかの場面で使われる。

スポーツでは『パンチバッグ』（サンドバッグ）や、喜びを表す『パンチする』動作にも使われます。『hitting』と違い、握りこぶしでの攻撃がポイントです。
