Definition

«عام» تعني مخصص للجميع، ليس خاصًا؛ يمكن أن تصف أشياء مفتوحة لكل الناس أو تشير إلى عامة الناس.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

كلمة ‘public’ تُستخدم كصفة (‘public library’) أو اسم (‘the public’). غالبًا ما تصف أماكن أو خدمات متاحة للجميع. لا تخلط بينها وبين ‘people’ (أشخاص) أو ‘common’ (مشترك). ‘In public’ تعني أمام الآخرين.

This is a public park. Everyone can visit.

العرض مفتوح أمام **الجمهور**.
