犯罪を犯したとして、公式に起訴されて裁判にかけられること。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
法律やニュースなどフォーマルな場面で使います。受動態（「〜された」）が多いです。刑事事件のみに使われ、民事裁判には使いません。「sued」とは別の意味です。
