Definition

「小道具」は舞台や映画で使用される道具のことです。スラングでは誰かの努力や成果を称賛する意味でも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

舞台・映画用の場合はいつも複数形。「称賛」意味の時は “give props” のような表現で、外見でなく成果や努力に使います。
