مكانة أو دور أو جماعة الكهنة، أو الفترة التي يكون فيها الشخص كاهناً.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يُستخدم غالباً في سياق ديني ويشير إلى جماعة الكهنة أو منصبهم، خاصة في المسيحية. غالباً يُسبق بـ 'the' (the priesthood). نادراً ما يُستخدم بصيغة الجمع. كثيراً ما يدل على دعوة وليس وظيفة فقط.
