司祭とは、礼拝を導き、祝福を与え、式典を執り行うなどの宗教的な役割を持つ指導者で、特にキリスト教の教会で使われます。

'司祭'や'神父'は主にカトリックや聖公会（アングリカン）、正教会などのクリスチャン指導者を指します。他の '牧師' や '修道士' とは異なる役割です。例えば「カトリック司祭」「小教区の司祭」などで使います。
