Definition

本当ではないことを本当のように見せかけること。遊びや想像、ごまかしのために使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

よく『〜のふりをする』『〜だと装う』という形で使われる。子どもには遊びや想像の意味、大人だと本心を隠すニュアンスがある。演劇の『演じる』とは区別すること。
