Definition

医師が出す、薬局で薬を受け取るための書類。また、権威ある人からの指示や提案を指すこともある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に病院やクリニックで薬をもらう紙に使われる。複数形の場合は複数の薬や処方箋を指す。'fill', 'renew', 'write' などと一緒によく使う。
