Tıbbi bir ortamda 'ilaç', 'tedavi' gibi kelimelerle kullanılır. 'Kanunla öngörülen' gibi resmi durumları da ifade eder. Resmî ve otoriter konularda geçerli, gayriresmî tavsiyelerde kullanılmaz.
