ビジネスや組織が使用する建物とその敷地全体を指します。建物の内部や周囲も含まれます。

常に複数形で使われます（例: 'on the premises'）。会社や学校などの敷地には使いますが、個人の家には使いません。「premise」（前提）と混同しないようにしましょう。
