十分な知識や理由がないまま、特定の人やグループに対して抱く不公平な考えや感情のこと。

「〜に対する偏見」という形で使われることが多いです。「bias」は経験や知識がある場合も含みますが、「偏見」は経験や理解が不足しているニュアンスがあります。日常会話やフォーマルな場面どちらでも使われます。
