Definition

液体を容器から他の容器へ移すことを指します。また、大雨が降る様子や、多くの人や物が一度にやって来ることも表します。

『水を注ぐ』『コーヒーを注ぐ』などで使います。『It’s pouring』は大雨が降っている時に使います。人や物がどっと来る時にも使われます。

Please pour some water into the glass.
