何かが起こる、事実である、または存在するかもしれない可能性を表します。また、考えられる選択肢や結果も指します。

『〜の可能性がある』『大きな／小さな可能性』などの形で使われます。日常会話では 'chance' の方がよく使われますが、'possibility' はよりフォーマルです。『possible(形容詞)』と間違えないようにしましょう。
