Definition

나무의 윗부분 가지를 잘라 새롭고 두꺼운 가지가 나오게 하는 방법이거나, 이렇게 잘린 나무를 의미함.

주로 버드나무나 장식용 나무에 사용하며 일상 회화에서는 드묾. 단순히 '가지치기(prune)'가 아니고, 둥근 형태가 만들어짐.
