「Pole」的複數。可指細長的物體（如竿、柱），也可指地球的南北極。

「Poles」可以指實體的竿子（如電線桿、滑雪杖）或地理學的南北極，科學上也指磁極或電極。常見搭配有「ski poles」、「flag poles」，不要與「polls」（投票、調查）混淆。
