指や物で人や物を示す動作や、注意を向けさせること。または狙いを定めること。

「pointing at」は目に見える仕草（例：スクリーンを指さす）として使われます。「pointing to」は証拠を示したり、何かを暗に示す場合も。日本でも人を指さすのは失礼に受け取られることがあります。

The boy is pointing at the dog.

男の子は犬を**指さしています**。
